Moving back to Niagara, I am surrounded by nature.

 

There is space, and trees, and a creek, all a stone’s throw away. 

It is both inspiration and solace.

 

It's been a long time since I've painted and when I pick up my brush, there is a sense of calm, a sense of quiet, but there’s energy too.

I am at home here.

 

I love the purity of the raw canvas, and building up the watery layers of paint.

The fluidity of the paint informs the work, the art develops organically.

The imperfections are a part of it. 

​

It unfolds and shows itself to me,

as though it has always been there.

​

The collection consists of moody introspective colour field paintings that I hope will resonate with you the way they do with me.
